How Does Venus VTC Solar Water Heater Technology Work?

Venus Vacuum Tube Collector (VTC) technology harnesses solar radiation to heat water efficiently. The system uses specially coated vacuum tubes to absorb solar energy, while the vacuum between the glass layers helps reduce heat loss.

Absorbs solar energy: The specially coated inner absorber of each vacuum tube captures solar radiation and converts it into heat
Heats water naturally: The absorbed heat warms the water in the collector. Through the thermosiphon effect, hot water rises towards the storage tank while cooler water moves down to be heated, enabling natural circulation without a circulation pump in a conventional thermosiphon system.
Stores hot water: The insulated storage tank helps minimise heat loss and retain hot water for later use, including periods when direct sunlight is unavailable. The result is a solar water heating system that makes productive use of sunlight and can help reduce the electricity required for conventional water heating.
